This is a very well written book and a pleasure to read. But having worked as a contractor for DARPA over many decades I know that most of the inventions were funded by DARPA and they may have some patent rights we the many subcontractors were the inventors and the patents are in our names. The Citizens of Lilliput deserve more than than the stress and strain on their femurs. Their size of 1/12 human would mean that their clocks run sqrt12 or 3.46 times faster than ours. The pitch of their voices would be high soprano, their speech would be 3.46 times faster. Their violins and cellos would be tuned almost two octaves higher. I am just touching on the possibilities. A poor excuse for a Climate Book. Written at the 8th grade level. Lots of self serving statements. He thinks that heat pumps are new?? My father was installing them in new homes in the early 1950s. This book has no original thoughts, just 1000 quotes from his advisers.

An excellent presentation of the theory of Justice. A bit long but worth it. Especially in these troubled times. We as a nation need to lean how to get along.

An excellent and well written biography of Paxton and his Crystal Palace. A who's who of mid 19th century London. As a retired engineer, I would have liked a bit more on the architecture of both palaces.
