A great cozy but thrilling read. I especially love it around the holidays, because I am much less jealous of Milo's cozy environment and endless hot cocoa if I'm nursing a cup of my own!

Compelling mystery with a wonderful setting and a jewel box of characters. I enjoyed it as an adult and I think I would’ve liked it as a child, too—good mix of things to puzzle out on your own and things that come as a surprise.

This was a shared read between my son and I. When I saw it, I have to admit, I thought the cover was beautiful. I love beautiful book covers and I found myself looking at it over and over and every time I looked at it, I saw something new.…

I thought this was a very enjoyable read. It was, in a few words, intricately elegant, and keeps you on the edge of your seat, while still being cozy and not too stressful. The various twists to the story were well done, and the various…

"This book is a great mystery novel and involves lots of teamwork. This is a great read for people who like mysteries and who also don't get too scared. This book is similar to Stuart Gibbs 'Fun Jungle' series -- which I also love. I…

This was a really good book that contains mystery and suspense, the only thing I did not like about it was that I felt it was a little slow in the beginning.

This was a unique read. The whole time I was reading, I was wondering if it was fantasy or a sort of an alternate reality with a slightly exaggerated concept of what is feasible. And then... And THEN... And then I hit the plot…

My favorite children's novel of 2014. Unique characters, friendships, unexpected twists, set in an old house during a snowstorm. Cozy, mysterious, and gentle, I was hoping that all would end well for everyone involved.
