Add a CommentI was forced to watch it on my phone. Due to technical difficulties I was unable to complete the film considering the fact that the screen size being offered was about the same as a flea. However, this looks like many other film's I have seen. Does anybody remember that movie with Kevin Costner as the serial killer dad whom too late realizes he's created a monster, in the form of his daughter? That's what this movie reminded me of. It's a good movie but I have seen it a dozen times.
Leave it to Stephen King to explain by his story/creation how murder is the best solution. Not only the best but the most moral. Incredible...but also the truth in this instance. The acting is a spot-on representation of Maine-iac...ery.
I'm not sure that I would recommend this movie for just any one. It was pretty good if you can forgive the rather poor acting and the poor lighting and the poor segues between sleep and reality. It had me mesmerized. I was sure that it was going to make sense right at the time I turned it off. It didn't. Oh, right it's Steven King!
It was all over the place couldn't tell if she was dreaming stuff or if it was real kinda hard to follow in that regard but not an overall bad story .!
Not sure about the other comments but we enjoyed this movie, it was very entertaining and very good acting. I always enjoy Stephen King's stories, always something out of the ordinary.
A good marriage is a BAD movie. Super slow, super stupid, and no suspence whatsoever...another Steven King book gone bad.
A pretty good movie. It appears to have a loose resemblance to the BTK Killer (Denis Rader) of Wichita:
1. Wife finds a mag about bondage belonging to hubby.
2. Friend says something about the latest victim being tortured.
3. Killer's nickname is "Beadie" which sounds like the beginning of "BTK".
4. Pictures of victims showed they had been bound and tortured before being killed.
5. In the Wichita case the long time serial killer was married with children and operated under the cover of surface appearance.
Pretty Good Movie, but they give away who the Killer is way to early in the movie.
Worth watching if you like Stephen King. Certainly not the best of his stories.
SOME SAID KING FASHIONED THIS MOVIE AFTER THE BTK SERIAL KILLER IN WICHITA KS.
A SEEN NO EVIDENCE OF THAT.
THE ENDING WAS THE BEST PART OF THE MOVIE.
Not very credible !
I'm sure King's written version must have been better, but it seems kinda silly as film.
Good actors wasted.
