Wow. About 300 pages of set-up for 100 pages of action. The situation onboard the space station is explained over and over and over before we get there. Stationmaster Tillington is discussed ad nauseam and turns out to be a bit player when he finally appears. It's beyond me why more of this wasn't told from the kids' point of view, since they are at the heart of the story, actually living through the upheaval others repeatedly analyze.
Gets better every time. This time everyone's older, it's back to the space station because vistors are coming. Bren must make peace and rescue the 3 children before they get there.
Too much exposition with too much complexity - I could not get past the first couple pages
