Don't get me wrong, this is a good book. But Stephen Colbert as a character has grown and changed over the years, and this is very much Early Colbert. Reading this after watching him now kind of takes the fun out of his old material.

Rambling, disconnected and definitely BORING. Makes me think his talk show writers don't get proper credit......if this is supposedly what he thinks on his own.

Wickedly funny book by Colbert and company, lampooning the typical conservative pundit by acting just like one. If you're a fan of the show, you'll understand the book, which is appropriately biting when it needs to be.
