"Since she landed in Hollywood at age sixteen, Jennie Garth has been something of a fish out of water. Just months after coming to LA, she landed the role of Kelly Taylor on Aaron Spelling's Beverly Hills, 90210. For the next ten years, Garth starred on one of the most iconic shows in television history, experiencing both the ups and downs of stardom, while securing her place in American pop culture as a teen icon. Recently, Jennie found herself facing forty from a vantage point she hadn't sought out: as a single mom, in demand again as an actress after a few years of focusing on her family, and all over the tabloids. In this intimate, uplifting memoir, Jennie explores the highs and lows of her life in Hollywood, both in front of the cameras and behind closed doors, sharing the joys and challenges of balancing motherhood, love, and life in the spotlight. Through these candid, funny, and poignant stories, fans will find they have a lot more in common with Jennie than they ever knew"--

I think she wrote this a little soon after her divorce. You can feel Garth is still pretty raw.

Good, not super dishy but nice to hear her own story. Should have been a LOT more about Shannen Doherty, but maybe that will be the next book.

It's all fluff. She doesn't tell anything revealing or negative about working on Beverly Hills 90210 or her marriage to Peter Facinelli. I thought it was pretty weird that basically she was living on her own and working as an actress at such a young age after passing a GED test.. then she got married twice and had kids at such a young age... For example while playing the role of high school student Kelly on BH90210 she was already a mom! Also on the cover and in the introduction it is spelled "blonde" but sometimes int he book it is "blond".

I know that she probably wrote this book because her acting career is not going well. Last time I saw her on TV was for a Keurig infomercial.

Not bad undecided if I like her or not. Was interesting to learn more about her though and she isn't a bad writer. Seems a little ditzy to me still lol
