A mystery-filled book that certainly kept me turning the pages. Samantha is a girl who seems to have it all; she’s pretty, rich, and the queen-bee of her school. After one mysterious night, everything changes. Samantha loses her memory, and her best friend is missing. Soon, she’s troubled with flashbacks to that night and strange visions. This book had enough suspense and creepy mystery moments to keep me from reading it in the dark. There were many revelations and plot twists that were interesting, but slightly predictable. Samantha is a likable character who was able to make smart judgements, and her reactions seemed very realistic for someone in her situation. The only problems I had with this book were the one-dimensional and cliché characters. There was the love-interest who didn’t have much beyond his looks and the “mean girls” of Samantha’s school. At some points, I found the actions of some of the villainous girls and the descriptions of the love-interest unnecessarily exaggerated. In all, this is still an enjoyable read in the mystery genre. Rating 3.5/5.

The suspense that this novel brings will leave you quickly turning the pages until the very end! You won't even be able to guess who the culprit is until the big reveal, I promise. ;)

Suspenseful yet a little slow, the leading character is relatable and the story is well written with the plot twist.

It was super intense!! I was totally absorbed throughout the novel, but it felt a little long/dragged out in around the second to last 50pgs, and then picked up again when things got revealed..looking back it wasn't amaaaazing, but had a lot of fun reading it!

I enjoyed this book. The words were smooth, and it was humorous at parts. I enjoyed the suspense in the story, but I can't say I didn't predict what was going to happen. I recommend this read.

A largely predictable book this is neither good nor bad. It is a pretty fast read so anyone who likes mystery will probably enjoy it, but not be surprised by much.

When Samantha loses her memory after a mysterious accident involving her best friend, she has to come to terms with the person she was before she lost her memories - and the reality isn't pretty. Watching this play out is heartbreaking. On top of that, there are twists and turns galore as Sam tries to figure out what happened the night she and Cassie disappeared.

Samantha is discovered stumbling along a highway, dirty, dehydrated and bloody, three days after she and her best friend Cassie went missing. Cassie still hasn't been found and Samantha suffers from amnesia and can't remember anything before the police picked her up.

Samantha tries to return to her normal life, the daughter of an old money family in a east coast town, hoping something in her old life will trigger memories to help the police find Cassie before it is too late. But soon she discovers that her old life isn't something she wants to return to. A classic mean girl, Sammy and her friends bullied her classmates, looked down on anyone who couldn't afford Prada and only hung out with their own kind.

Now Sammy can't believe she used to act that way. As she tries to understand her past self she beings to get threatening letters, telling her to leave the past behind as she won't like what she finds. Soon Sammy begins to realize her seemingly perfect life isn't so great after all but she can't get away...someone is trying to pull her back in.
