Awesome book I was really sad when Alice betrayed Tom But glad to read this.

Read all 13 in a just a few months and this book and almost all got 3+ stars. This one put all books together and the ending just has so many more openings and adventures to come and just wonder about Grimalkin and Kratch the boggart and everything....

This probably is the biggest book in the series and has many great new things in it. I loved the book and the concept that the author is open for new series. I would still have like the fiend to give more fight before he was destroyed though!

Ooohh goodness. Does anyone know if the series afterward (a new darkness) has Alice and Tom! Please tell me yes.

Anyone here who loves this series can check out "a new darkness"(book) it's after Tom becomes the spook and takes on an apprentice and fights the kobalos

I like how it's the thirteenth book ;)
Great book, but not for the easily frightened.

The Last Apprentice is a spooky and mysterious book about a seventh son of a seventh son who is an apprentice to probably the creepiest job in his time.
