This is a great book for a Kumihimo beginner. It's explained well with pictures and diagrams. Patterns are also included.
Bonus: This is a local (Tucson) Author/Artist/Bead store owner.

This book offers really useful advice on creating Japanese braids with a disk as opposed to the traditional (and ungainly) marudai.

Rebecca Combs advises the crafter to use weights when using beads, and she explains the rationale for this.

The projects are attractive and workable, and the instructions are concise and clear.

Altogether a superior book on this ancient craft!
