A tedious voice-over recitation of the ins and outs of 30 years of two factions contending for the English throne.
I feel that the visuals are not much relevant to the text, nor very useful in helping our understanding. (But the maps were O.K.)
The 'extras' were somewhat more interesting.

This is an interesting program with a very good outline of the War of the Roses, from its beginning in the 1450’s to its end, with the first Tudor, who became Henry VII—who, according to the program, had a very tenuous claim to the throne. A bit hard to follow at times, since the sounds—music, battle cries, etc—were almost as loud as the narrator's voice. One of the professors had such a heavy brogue it was almost impossible at times to understand what he was saying. Also, the scenes that showed battles and historical characters interacting, were confusing and the camera kept jerking around, quite irritating. But overall will help understand the political situation of that time.

Hard to follow. Too many detalls. Then again, perhaps my brain was too tired to watch this on a Friday night.
