Summary (so you don't have to lose another hour of sleep watching these drawn-out melodramatic interviews): Sleep deprivation is a serious health and safety issue. Tons of people suffer from insomnia, sleep apnea, etc. Sleep deprivation damages the immune system and increases risks for diabetes, cancer, obesity, depression, you name it.
Tips: cut the caffeine, booze, cigarettes. Get some exercise. Cool down the temperature and turn off all the electronics in your room before you hit the hay.
Turn the TV off and go to bed. :)
