The explanatory content is fine, but the recipes are bland, uninspired, and boring. I switched to using Laurel's Kitchen and online cooking blogs for recipes and was much happier.

I completed the Whole30 and this book is essential for success. It explains the elimination diet, the rules, and what to expect after the 30 days are over when you enter the reintroduction phase. The diet focuses on non-scale victories and figuring out which foods make you feel good vs bad. I won't lie, it's a tough month, but well worth it. The recipes are all pretty good, too. Beware! If you participate in the Whole30, you will be cooking and doing dishes more frequently. Meal prep is essential. There are plenty of support groups online to help get you through!

Had to purchase my own copy if I'm going to give it a try. I'm to messy a cook to have a library book on the kitchen counter.

I started this eating plan by buying the wrong book, that is when I decided to check out the library copy, and while I've been doing the whole30 for a while now, I have to say I am so happy the library has multiple copies of this book.
I recommend this book and I wish everyone considering or currently in the whole30 all the success. We need the Spanish translation, I hope we can get it soon.

The most important thing I have taken from this book is to look at the labels on the food I eat. I thought I did look at labels, but realized all I looked at was the amount of calories, carbs, and fat were in my food. I never thought to look farther. When I started to, I was shocked to discover so many foods I assumed were unaltered, instead had a number of other ingredients added to them. I am currently about halfway through my first Whole30 and so far so good. If you need motivation, this book can help!

If you're interested in doing a processed food detox, this is a good, basic plan to follow. It seems a bit too restrictive to be feasible long term, but for a 30 day period, it seems like both a challenge, but also something that most people could accomplish.

Interesting look at nutrition and food choices. If you like a challenge this may be for you. Can you live without sugar, grains, legumes, dairy and alcohol for 30 days? You will be surprised at how great you feel!

This book is very motivating- I've been wanting to eat health and focus more on a plant-based diet, rather than processed foods. In addition, there are modifications for vegetarians and low-FODMAP people.

The book guides you with shopping lists and recipes.
