A scientific love poem to the strength of a woman's body and how various connections/experience shape it: evolution, family, menopause, motherhood, love, friends, and work. This book would be an inspiring gift to give to any woman in your life (or a man seeking to learn more about women's lives).

Natalie Angier is an enlightening and enjoyable wordsmith. I found her book enjoyable to read, important in its perspective, and fun in her mastery of the English language.

Who knew human anatomy could be so fun? Ms. Angier is like an informative and witty museum tour guide, taking the reader on a stroll past living exhibits of all uniquely feminine aspects of human physiology. A fascinating and revealing book that should be read by every woman (and probably men too!).
