I think this author is witty and I found the book pretty funny. This is a sequel to "Keeping the Castle" but I think it can be read as a standalone novel as well. I liked how there were a lot of different characters, but I felt that the book should have been longer, working out the romances a bit more. Instead of showing that the couples were falling in love, basically the author just stated it. I had no real sense that they even liked each other. However, I could overlook it, because it was still a quick and fun read. Recommended if you like light romance and easy reads.

I found this book to be lacking in character development and completely missing a climax leaving me with an unfinished feeling at the end. Not one I will recommend, although I will say there were a few times I did literally laugh out loud due to the subtle humor or Kindl.

A companion to Kindl's 2012 novel 'Keeping the Castle', but works as a standalone too, this one is less of a traditional Regency than the first book, since it follows several different girls and their romantic entanglements at a finishing school in Yorkshire. Full of the same humor that made the first one such a success, this was a fun, fast read.
