Other: There's an irksome offensive comment about someone's idea of fun being a visit to a Holocaust museum. Out of all the things in the world to joke about, the writer couldn't have come up with anything else?

Comment
Add a CommentI really enjoyed this movie. It was funny, interesting, offbeat, and a little dark. I always appreciate unique stories and this is one. Definitely would recommend if you like Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind.
This is just a silly idea and a silly movie.
Uniquely done, romantic but off the wall movie.
Loved this movie. A little bit quirky romantic comedy, a little bit dark comedy... lots of things that stuck with me long after it was over. Is not for everyone but also not overly artsy or "experimental". I think most fans of offbeat films would find this worth a try
In addition to the other comments, I should just add: this movie BLOWS. Such a lameass, shallow treatment of a premise that (maybe) could've been interesting in that there's grappling with measurements against the "ideal." Sadly, however, this remains a subtext unaddressed directly in the film. It's possible to say that leaving it ambiguous was part of the design, but it's also possible to say that the design BLOWS (lol). But seriously, the film just annoyed me and dragged on. Obviously you'll make up your own mind, but while I wouldn't verbally tell someone this movie is "awful," I also can't justify giving it 1 full star because it is, indeed, worse than poor. *I enjoy being challenged by a film, teased, left hanging, etc, provided it somehow stirs up an emotion more complex than what I experienced here. It's also hard to imagine people actually being as dumb and suspicious as the ones presented here. I grant that it can happen, but it still seems extenuating. ...though perhaps through repeated disseminations of this movie & similar productions, we can achieve such lows of lazy, cynical, self-absorbed behavior more quickly. Blech.
TEN MINUTES OF THIS BORING MOVIE IS ALL I COULD TAKE.
WASTE OF TIME.
Intriguing, but ultimately went an unexpected way, making it sci-fi rather than relationship based, still good, just a bit confused as to where it was trying to go.
Watchable, but, for me, devoid of message or purpose. I find others' comments interesting in that I definitely didn't see whatever they seemed to.
Starts out slow and boring but then suddenly becomes delightfully weird. Well worth sticking out the first 10-15 minutes!
I liked that movie! Weird, but very well done and thought provoking.
