Alison accepts that the spirits she has seen since she was a child will never leave her. After nearly dying during a seance in which she was inhabited by the spirit of Robert's dead son, she determines that the dead should not dictate her life and she wants to help the living. Robert, meanwhile, is in turmoil. Once a total skeptic, his beliefs have been shaken by what he witnessed at the seance and he now struggles to make sense of his life.

i agree with the previous comment - the second season not half as-good! It started out okay but by the third episode you knew it was going downhill fast. It was like they wanted to finish off the second season asap - maybe because they ran out of story -lines. Andrew Lincoln, the psychologist was playing a really stupid part in the end (I'm sure they don't really act like that!). And the medium well she had one of the major roles in Scott and Bailey coming-up! Ah well, on to the next BBC drama!

Pretty good, but I didn't think it was as good as the first season. Think the second season went away from the formula in the first season. Was a tad disappointed because I thought season one was so good. My daughter liked it, though, and she hadn't seen the first season, so didn't know anything about this show, and she's pretty picky about tv shows. The acting was super, but I was left a little wanting more and was a little disappointed by the turn the show took, but, like I said, it was good and I encourage anyone to watch it. I give it 5 stars for the acting and writing and 3 stars for being disappointed in the way the show went in the second season.

As superb, if not even better, than Season 1. Gripping and suspenseful in every way. Ssperbly written and directed. These are human stories of psychological suspense, not gimmicks, gore and CGI. See Season 1, then this.

Best line: " It's not about changing the past if you are unhappy; it's about changing the person you are now, the person you are going to be."
