Dame Agatha Christie's work is always a grand mystery, and l love David Suchet in all the Poirot movies. The characters are real people that made her the queen of mystery if you are well read.

"The mystery of the blue train" has the usual assortment of odd-ball characters that no one in their right mind would want to associate with. That is if these characters would see themselves willing to associate with you. I want to be on record that James D'Arcy is the most insufferable bore of an actor. I miss Hastings, Miss Lemon, and Japp. "Cards on the table" is a rather dark murder mystery where Christie brings in homosexuality as the "slop for dinner". I didn't like this episode.
"After the funeral". None of the family members are good people. Thank God it's over.
"Taken at the flood" is the darkest mystery I have had the displeasure to sit through. What a sick murderer Maybe Christie is the most popular book seller of all time (outside of the Bible) but she has some pretty nasty thoughts about people. If this is what people are taken with then please don't invite me to their homes. I know they are unwelcome in mine.
"Taken at the flood"
