2016 Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump has a plan to make America great again. President Obama has been a disaster for this country. He's wrecked our economy, opened our borders to violent criminals, saddled our children with debt, and gone around the world apologizing for Americaas if the greatest nation in the world needed to apologize for being the land of opportunity and freedom that we were before Obama became president. Now, America looks like a broken countrystripped of jobs, stripped of wealth, stripped of respect. And what does President Obama do about it? He plays nice with the very same foreign governments who are eager to watch America burn. This can't go on. And if Donald J. Trump has anything to say about it, it won't. In his New York Times bestselling book, Time to Get Tough, Trump has the answers America has been looking for, including: How to finally secure our border and fix our immigration overflow How to create American jobs by forcing Communist China into truly fair trade How to retire our debt without endangering long-established programslike Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaidthat millions of Americans depend on How to undo the fraud of Obamanomics and the disaster of Obamacare Blunt, smart, and thoroughly captivating, Time to Get Tough is trademark Trump, setting out a common sense agenda to restore American prosperity and make our nation the world's leader once again. --

I laughed when I heard that DJT was running for president. I did not know much about him so read a couple of his books, attended a rally, and I try to understand everything he says, not what others say about him.
Donald Trump is a successful businessman. He dearly loves his family and cares about all human beings. He is a brilliant thinker. He has given me much confidence and hope for our country.

These "reviews" are supposed to be of the book read, not an opportunity to juvenile political venting. Sigh. I found it interesting that much of the information contained in this book predates a run for the Presidency and the winning of the 2016 election, and nearly 3 years in the job. Donald Trump seems to have had a handle on how to proceed on many issues facing our nation back in 2011 when this book was published. Now, back to the juveniles -- grow up. Be kind, stay focused on the task, or stay quiet.

Donald Trump does not write his own books. He is an imbecile, just like his supporters.

This is an article about the man who wrote Trump's first book for him:

Anyone who thinks this moron is smart has never heard him speak. Trump is obviously barely literate and must of used a ghost writer.

I really enjoyed reading the book, he is definitely a smart man and wants the US to be top country in the world.
I like how he says things straight forward, unfortunately people get offended from hearing the truth.
I do not agree with everything he said but for the most part, he is a wise and knowledgeable man

For those who say that Trump is short on substance, read this book. In it, he advocates placing a 25% tariff on Chinese exports until they stop manipulating their currency. Considering the U.S. trade deficit with China is $300 billion dollars annually while total U.S. debt is $16 trillion, that's some serious money that can be saved. Other policies include eliminating the corporate tax rate (or reducing it to 0%) and finally building a three-level wall with Mexico. A good read from quite possibly the next POTUS.

Donald Trump is a very smart man - I've read about 4 books by him. This isn't my favorite book written by him but he is very informative and very clearly explains the world's major issues and how he would deal with them. Most certainly worth your while to read this book!

since mr. trump is running for president I thought it important to read him. I was wrong. he spends his time telling us that only he is smart and tough enough to deal with arabs and Chinese. he claims jfk as an ally in reducing tax rates. of course when jfk was president the top tax rate for an individual was 90%. at any rate, this book isn't worth reading

This blog had a good summary of this book: Saturday, July 4, 2015 With All The Criticism, What Do We Really Know About Trump's Plan For America? The Horse Sense Blog compares the nonsense in today's news with good ol' fashioned horse sense.
Here's the Nonsense: Donald Trump is too outspoken, flamboyant, irreverent, and has hair that I hate for me to consider him as a serious candidate for president. We need to force him out of the race immediately.
Here's the Horse Sense: Trump may be all of those things, but speaking your mind has historically been something Americans take pride in. We need to know more about his plans for America before we make a decision about him. And as for his hair, if you judge people based on their hair, weight, skin color, the way they dress, or anything else that says nothing about their character or ability, then you need to look in a mirror to see the real fool. . . http://www.horsesenseblog.com/2015/07/with-all-criticism-what-do-we-really.html
