This was a DNF for me. I did make it 2/3 of the way through it. I wish I would have stopped after a couple of chapters. The story sounded promising. It was futuristic and sounded like it was full of action. It started out decent enough. Unfortunately once the main character gets the implant in her vocal chords, the whole book slid down a dark, dank sewer pipe that made it painful to read. Instead of going in to long details I will just sum up what I read as boring, very frustrating, and slightly burned my eyes and nose...

This is a great adaptation on a classic tale. I loved it and it was not cliche or anything you would expect from a retelling.
