My 4 and 2 year-old boys LOVED this book. The 4-year-old followed the story well, understanding what was going on. The 2-year-old enjoyed the pictures and repeated call "Bogo! Pogo! Apes-a-go-go!" The apes make bigger and bigger messes, which, of course, appeals to boys. The apes are only trying to fix the problem but inadvertently create a bigger problem, with a surprisingly satisfying resolution. The art style is quirky and fun. The story moves fast.
