Satisfactory analysis of the marriage of George and Martha, although much of the book covers well trodden ground (the various battles during the Revolution that Washington commanded). Hampered by the fact, as the author notes, that most of the correspondence between the couple was destroyed. The book is written by a British author, who treats the matter more empathetically than one might expect, but it is overall just an average dual biography.
