Interesting how the people of NYC reacted to this month-long city-wide series of art installments. Showcases the creativity and expression of art as well the trendiness and greed in the art world, in the city, and in human nature. Good documentary.

An interesting documentary about a famous but unknown graphitti artist spending a month in New York. The documentary states that graphitti was invented in NY. There may be an argument that modern spray paint graphitti was invented in NY but there isn't enough evidence in the documentary to support that. It is in that way a little bit USA-centric. The documentary consists of some hand held shaky footage and is a bit disjointed. It is however an interesting look a culture that often intrudes into the ordinary world but that the ordinary world doesn't look into very often.

Fascinating on so many levels. I watched it with my teens and it stimulated discussion in lots of different directions.

A mostly boring film featuring poorly, hand held camera work following loosers as they try to jump on the Banksy bandwagon and document his 30 days of street art in NYC.

Loved the different perspectives it shows. A nice window to human nature.

Campy, kitschy, silly: but well branded. I am convinced that Banksy fans are pre-qualified by having an IQ of no more than 80, excessive amounts of free time and disposable income. They are, however, adept at spotting a fashion and joining the bandwagon.

I found this film fun and entertaining but also a fascinating and somewhat absurd glimpse into our celebrity worshiping and social media obsessed culture. It also raises some interesting questions about the value and commercialization of art, celebrity and anonymity, public vs private spaces and more. While admittedly a light weight doc and somewhat haphazardly made, that is part of its charm.

Embarrassing.- it's a feeble, feeble documentary- it's as bankrupt as the artworld it's trying to skewer.

I should have read the description of this more carefully. I thought this was about Banksy. It's not. It's about people wandering around New York looking for his work (which is barely shown). Inane, inarticulate people using their phones as cameras. Unless this kind of amateur stuff is for you, skip it.
