In A Guide for the Perplexed, bestselling author E. F. Schumacher explores our relation to the world: our obligations--to other people, to the earth, to progress and technology, but most importantly to ourselves. If man can fulfill these obligations, then and only then can he enjoy a truly authentic relationship with the world--and truly know the meaning of living.

A couple doing some home renovations made an amazing discovery when they found a safe containing $50,000 in cash and clues to a possible treasure hunt.

"The safe looks like it’s about 10-20 years old. After a half dozen attempts it actually worked!"

Photos show the safe contained $51,000 in old $100 bills, a unopened bottle of James E. Pepper whiskey marked 1960 and the book A Guide for the Perplexed by E.F. Schumacher published in 1977.
