“Farewell Grandpa Elephant” is a really good book for preschoolers. It does contain some religious components such as heaven and hell. If the child is uncomfortable with religious components, it would be recommended not to read the book to them. The book was illustrated really nicely but the length of the story could have been a little longer. I feel like they could have made the ending longer by showing us what really happened to Grandpa Elephant after he went to the elephant graveyard. Then the children could have known what really happened, such as did his soul come out, and was he reborn? Overall, this book is highly recommended to all preschoolers.
