The Only Street in Paris
Life on the Rue Des Martyrs
Large Print - 2016
The former Paris bureau chief for the New York Times invites us on a tour of her favorite Parisian street. "I can never be sad on the rue des Martyrs," Sciolino explains, as she makes readers hungry for Paris, for cheese and wine, and for the kind of street life that is quickly disappearing.

A "love" story about one street in Paris, show-casing colourful characters and specialty shops. It makes me want to re-visit the "City of Light" to immerse myself in the sights, sounds and aromas of this neighbourhood.
Very enjoyable read. Author captured all of the details that I love about certain streets in Paris. Her favourite is Rue de Martyrs, mine is Rue Mouffetard.
