So fun to see Star Wars come back but it isn't quite as good as the original 3. Got me hooked and excited for more! Just awesome

I really liked this movie. It was cool that they decided to continue the story. Really, I also think that people younger that 12 or 13 could watch it, just skip the opening scene. I am so excited to find out what happens next in VIII! It was funny when Kylo Ren threw fits and destroyed stuff with his lightsaber, especially when Rey escaped. The two tropers were coming down the hall and saw sparks flying and turned around.

This movie was good. It wasn't one of the best of the Star Wars films, but it was on par with the original trilogy. It felt like a very back-to-basics film, and followed many of the film mechanics of Star Wars: a New Hope. The action was fun. The characters, for the most part, were entertaining. I did not like the villain. Kylo Ren is not as cool as Darth Vader, though he is as whiny and obnoxious as Anakin Skywalker, so mileage may vary. It was definitely a worthwhile film to follow the original trilogy's footsteps, and miles above the prequels.

Daisy Ridley is magnetic . Great start to the new Star Wars series. 420 >>

The politically correct will love this movie. So, I hated it. At least, there was no Jar Jar Binks.

I've skipped a couple of the newer installments of Star Wars but had to see Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill (very briefly) in this one. I thought it was pretty decent entertainment...not as good as the first three (by release date) but I didn't expect it to be either. Really interesting to see this movie and "Brooklyn" the day before, both with Domhnall Gleeson. Quite different rolls to say the least.

I really enjoyed the newest Star Wars movie. Just enough new ideas and characters to get me excited about the movies to come while spending a lot of time reliving the original films.

It was a great opening act. I think the future is all about knowing what robots beepin an boopin means.

nostalgia. star wars is nostalgia. I was happy to see the return of star wars and still am. after the nostalgia wore off what I see is a movie that isn't really that well scripted or interesting. I hope that the series will give us better quality instead of a rehash of what we have seen before.

I don't think the futur is knowing what robots beepin an boopin means. I'm tired of Star Wars
