Colourful, otherworldly art that is just beautiful and well-suited to this bizarre and interesting short story.

Something I love about Neil Gaiman's writing is that he often leaves a lot up to the reader's own interpretation. There's a whole lot of ambiguity here in this quick read but I quite enjoyed it. Probably won't be what you expect and the ending might surprise and/or frustrate you. I can see why it might not be everyone's cup of tea but I'm still thinking about it days later. You kind of get to decide whether you want to take a more sci-fi or realistic approach to the story, and I think that's why I enjoyed it so much.

Fantastic graphic novella combining the significant talents of Neil Gaiman, Fabio Moon, and Gabriel Ba. Everyone comes out of this looking like a superstar. Soon to be a motion picture!

I like this plenty, don't get me wrong, but I think that the short story was better. I've found this to be the case with any number of his tales that are transferred to another medium, but it graphic novel, children's book, or what have you.

This is a fun version of Neil Gaiman's shot story. The artwork is great and it made me wish that there was more to the story.

Not at all what I was expecting, though I shouldn't have been surprised given the author. I went in cold, never having read the short story in its original form and having avoided reviews and descriptions. It appears mundane enough heading in, but ends up being far from it. Lots of fun. I'm guessing the art enhances the straight text, as it's gorgeous to look at and very well done.

Reminiscent of a Ray Bradbury story, only with girls.

Great art but not a home run by any means. It is above average but not anywhere near the skill by all involved.
