Look behind the curtain of Washington politics, depicting the explosive 1991 Clarence Thomas Supreme Court nomination hearings where Anita Hill accused him of sexual harassment. The hearings brought the country to a standstill and became a pivotal moment in American culture forever changing how people perceive and experience workplace equality and gender politics.

based on true story and lets you see inside glance of our government and how much they withhold and cover up. it can make us wonder how they ever get anything done in the name of justice and right, instead of their own agenda

We had dim recollections of this event and had no idea of the scope. Excellent acting and well worth watching.

I didn't remember much about this time period or Anita Hill's brave step forward. I am so glad I watched CONFIRMATION, to open my eyes up to what happened, to see gratefully how much has changed and then sadly how little. Fantastically cast and well written, CONFIRMATION is an excellent glance at recent history, much the way Ryan Murphy did with AMERICAN CRIME STORY: THE PEOPLE VS. OJ SIMPSON. However, I liked CONFIRMATION more. I highly recommend everyone give this film a watch.

Well acted and just as painful to watch as the actual hearings. Judge Thomas called the proceedings a lynching. I call it a miscarriage of justice and still believe Anita Hill. Four paws up from Abby Tabby and Kristi. Four paws down for the results of the confirmation process.
