Easy to love teen romance. This book really stuck out to me because it focuses to tightly on the culture of "fandom" i.e. all the shows, movies, comics and books that people obsess over and use as the base of their own creations. Each chapter starts with a quote from a real-life "fandom".
The plot is divided into two parts: 1.) Liz and her efforts to save the fandom 2.) Liz and the comic convention. This was a smart device by the writer as it helps uninitiated fans build up an understanding of what craziness happens in a convention at the same time as the main protagonist.
A worth-while read for the under-represented geek girl!
