Great entertainment, you just want to stand up and cheer him on. I liked the Bugs Bunny cartoon with it, Captain Hareblower, they used to have a sense of humour making these movies too! Not so much the Sweet Land of Liberty jingoism of the other accompanying short. Oh well...

They don't make them like they used to ! ...and this one stands up well.

Perhaps beecause the author of the original books, C.S.Forester, was involved in the screen transition,.. they actually portray a realisticly maneuvered naval battle !!

They get a lot of other 'salty' details right also (although some of the shouted 'commands' are inappropiate and silly !).

Enjoy.

Sound and Very well done old school WAR movie. I would recommend this movie for all to see. Well worth the price of admission to any theater.
