Cute, well written text. The illustrations were a bit of a mismatch with the story though.

How do you get a monster to go to bed? Not by counting sheep (they'll get eaten), not with a glass of milk (what monster drinks milk?), and not with a monster boogie dance party (everybody stays up late to dance). To get your monster to go to bed, you need to think like a monster. Fun to read out loud, with lots gross humor, this colorful picture book will appeal to older pre-K and younger school age readers.
