Add a CommentI was really in to this book. A page turner. Chevy Stevens is one of my newly discovered favourite authors. I want to read anything she writes. There were some great twists in this book. You can't go wrong. Read it!
Very good book, worth the read. Very unpredictable/creative.
All her books are gret. M
I would have never guessed the end of this book!!!!! It had my attention the whole way!
4.5 stars. A page-turner of a book that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it. I loved the setting and the ominous tone of the writing. I kept changing my mind about whodunnit until right before the final denouement. I would have to say that this is now my favourite title by Stevens. Amazing!
Love, love this author! Love that is located in the Vancouver area. Can't wait for her next book!
I love reading her books and finding them set on Vancouver Island and the Okanagan, places I know. I can't wait for her next book.
This is the first novel I've read by this author, and it was pretty good. I could have done without the annoying teenage daughter and the silly idea that an abuser may have miraculously changed, but these were key to moving the story forward, so I'll forgive. Scary, as are all stories of controlling men, interesting twists, and an end I didn't see coming. Overall, I quite enjoyed it.
I feel a bit bad rating this book so low but I found it boring (compared to some of the author's other novels). It felt a bit like a diary and was only exciting at the very end. 'That Night' is my favourite book so far.
I loved this book as I have loved all her books to date. It's a real page turner and keeps you guessing. For me, all her books have been real page turners that keep me up at night reading and taking breaks during my days to read.
