A short but very informational picture book about Eugenie Clark, who was one of the most prominent marine biologists studying sharks. She was born in 1922 and not encouraged to follow her passion. I read it to my 5 and 8 year old grandsons, and both were interested although the 5 year old lost interest with the added details at the end. However, I learned a lot!!

Clark proved that most sharks are not dangerous, that they don't all have to move continually to stay alive, and that some can be trained, and are very important to keep the marine ecosystem in balance.

My grandsons already know a bit of ecosystems, so that helped.

I read it on my laptop browser as there is no Kindle version available.
