Lovely picture book about a bucket list for a friend. The friend happens to be a dog, but as the picture book shows it doesn’t matter as long as there is love to share until the end.

This is such a wonderful tear-jerker of a picture book. This one focuses on a girl who has created a bucket list for her old dog, and I just cried all the way through it. It's smart, funny, kind, and it reminds you how powerful the companionship of an animal can truly be.

This beautiful story will touch the hearts of any reader especially those who share or have shared a special bond with an animal. This story is not just for children, readers of all ages will be moved... keep the tissues nearby.

A kid's book about the process or possibility of losing a loved one that is actually SUPER WELL DONE! Finally! This themes seems tricky within the genre of picture books but Kate and M. Sarah Klise have pulled it off!

"On Saturday night, Astrid took Eli to a restaurant for dinner. 'Two plates of spaghetti with meatballs,' Astrid told the waiter."

A tender tale of a girl and her big shaggy best friend, Eli. The story chronicles all the special times Astrid and her dog Eli have together from the day Astrid came home as a newborn, to the cozy afternoons on the couch when Eli is an old dog who no longer has the strength to visit the park. A very special book about the bond between children and their pets.
