This books is great for a first time reader! My three year loves this book! Great pictures and easy to follow. I wish I could find more books like this one!!!!!!!

An excellent first reader! My kindergarten daughter loves this book and wants to read it over and over! She is able to read it by herself, and even on her first attempt was able to decipher a couple of words she did not know by looking at the cute pictures. It has a lot of repetition and simply replaces the subject in the one sentence on each page. It is not intimidating to a new reader because there are only a few words per page, and with the pictures the child is almost guaranteed to be successful in reading this book!
It doesn't hurt that my daughter loves to give hugs! This is a terrific book to go back to after reading a little more advanced first reader book requiring more effort - then this book is easy and just for fun, yet still builds self confidence in being able to read, and a love of reading!
