Twenty-nine-year-old Satoru Fujinuma is floundering through life. Amid his daily drudgery, he finds himself in the grip of an incredible, inexplicable, and uncontrollable phenomenon that rewinds time, a condition that seems to only make his drab life worse. But then, one day, everything changes. A terrible incident forever changes Satoru's life as he knows it...and with it, comes a "Revival" that sends Satoru eighteen years into the past! In the body of his boyhood self, Satoru encounters sights he never imagined he would see again--the smile of his mother, alive and well, his old friends, and Kayo Hinazuki, the girl who was kidnapped and murdered when he was a boy the first time around. To return to the present and prevent the tragedy that brought him back to his childhood in the first place, Satoru begins plotting a way to change Hinazuki's fate...But up against the clock and a faceless evil, does eleven-year-old Satoru even stand a chance?

Erased is a fantastic manga series that continuously keeps you on the edge of your seat. This twisty murder mystery leaves you wanting more after each book. The main character Satoru has an amazing ability he calls "revival" and can help stop accidents to happen by going back in time a few minutes. Although his "revival" sends him far back into his childhood to help save kids that had been murdered in his neighborhood. When reading you get mislead about many things but when it all comes together...just wow. Get ready for tears, suspense, and loving this series.

Erased is a mystery thriller manga with a time-travel element. I'm almost done with the series and it has been consistently very good. It's kept me guessing the whole way through!

Satoru Fujinuma is a young man living a dull meaningless life in Japan. But Satoru has the unusual power to rewind time and alter the future by changing the past. Usually his time loops only last a few minutes. But something very bad happens, and Satoru is flung backwards 18 years into his childhood where he has to prevent a serial killer from abducting one of his classmates. An interesting and mysterious plot, great art, and some romance elements make this graphic novel well worth reading.

An engaging manga about a man who has the ability to travel back in time and ends up trying to see if he can save a young girl from his past.

This is one of the Beast manga I have read! It is sad and depressing though, and thats not just the 1st book but the inter seres...

-If you are an anime loving geek this seres would cont as a "Seinen" manga... so if you like that time of manga you will love this!
