I just can't get into it. I read all the words but nothing seems to fit together.

If you love New Orleans and her people as I do, this book will break your heart. Set in the man-made disaster that followed Hurricane Katrina, the characters struggle to live in an ugly new world. Some are inexorably broken. Other prevail in true Faulknerian style. A deeply immersive reading experience.
