Add a CommentI suggested this for purchase by the library and was turned down. So I bought it on eBay. Like Durst but this was the worst film she has been in. I would donate it but it is not entertaining in the least.
This drama/thriller film is about a woman who takes a mind-altering drug that changes her perception on everything and brings her into a state of confusion and despair. The movie stars Kirsten Dunst, Joe Cole, Pilou Asbaek, Jack Kilmer, and more, which brought some interest to the film. However, the movie was often boring and awkward with a storyline that never seemed to end. At times I could tell where the director was going with things and what their vision was, but the true message that they were trying to convey never came out. I would rate this movie 2.5/5 stars and recommend it to those who don’t mind watching over an hour of a girl on a drug-trip. @The_Reviewer of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board
Expected this to be different. Again puzzled why this movie is described as a horror movie. It is not. It is more of an art movie similar to the movie The Ghost Story except the characters here talk. They talk but many things are not obvious. I had to google the plot while pausing this movie to understand who, what and why?
It is a psychological movie about loss and grieve and how some of us are not capable of dealing with it. And I still think smoking kills people.
It was so boring that I could not finish it.
