One of my most favorite books to read out loud. So much expression in the lovely illustrations, and a funny little twist at the end.

One of my absolute favorite stories. Simple story line, easy text, lots of opportunity for reading with expression, and great illustrations all make this an amazing book to share with kids.

Growing up, this was one of my all-time favorite children's books. By the time I was five, I could tell the whole story, even if I couldn't actually read it yet. The illustrations are richly gorgeous. The story is fun and interactive, since the narrator is talking to the mouse.
