What a heart wrenching story. It's told so beautifully through letters and shows Evie's growth over the course of 15 months so well that you may believe that this is a true story. I'll be looking for more by this author.

I love the epistolary format- the suspense builds about why Cilla just isn't writing back. Petro-Roy adeptly writes about Evie's self-discovery with tenderness and a fantastic, "nothing is wrong with me" approach.
