A perfect memoir to savor on an evening when the air is turning to autumn. Meditative, elegant, fun and delightful. Not just about lambs but also poetry, history and becoming friends with your father.

This is a lovely book. It is written beautifully. It transports you to another, peaceful, introspective world. It is such a treat and retreat from the violent world we live in. I recommend it to all. Are there other books like this?
