Always great to see a film with a strong female protagonist and this one does not leave you wanting. Looking forward to her next one.

I thought Wonder Woman started off weakly, with a big mythology infodump, and then one of those absurdly exaggerated action scenes Hollywood is so fond of now. But once the movie got into the meat of the plot things picked up and I found myself enjoying it. I liked the novelty of a story not making excuses for having a female hero, and I very much liked that Chris Pine was not ashamed to play what is normally the role of the supportive girlfriend. Then the movie gets somewhat clichéd again at the big confrontation at the end, but not enough to change my over-all favorable impression. As the first installment of another superhero franchise, Wonder Woman leaves one wanting more.

Arrgghh!!!! I hate the ending to this movie! No spoilers, but warning, the end is super sad. Made me cry. But otherwise, it was a super awesome movie.

At first I thought this move was going to be like the TV series (which made wonder woman boring). But this movie was better with believable performances.

This movie was very hyped just like most superhero movies theses days and they end up being a awful movie to watch. I gave this movie the stars I did because I feel that wonder woman deserves her own movie to many guy action heros females are not as much so I feel it is time for more wonder woman movies to come. Also I feel Gal Gadot was a good pick to have a wonder woman, I know Lynda Carter was the first (maybe) I feel Gal was a good fit. Like most movies nowadays they need to be tweek at bit to get it done possible but just have to wait and see what there is to come.

Movie was over-hyped. It was slow paced like some reviews here have said. And I found the language and vocabulary used not matching the period the movie was to have taken place, which is the 1940's.

Good ideas and performances, but the pacing is uneven. You could have tightened so much of this and ended up with a shorter but more impactful movie.

Amazing. Amazons. Battles. Chris Pine. My only complaint is you can't see the kiss!! ACCK!
Fun, great theme music too!

Still love after rewatching...and still found myself getting emotional at some scenes, like when she climbs up into "no man's land"

Wonder Woman is truly a masterpiece of a film. Diana fights her greatest enemy, Ares, as WWI rages on around her. Convinced that defeating Ares will end the war, she goes to destroy him but is forced to consider the nature of humanity. Are people truly good overall? And is humanity even worth saving? With well-developed side characters that enhance the vitality and intensity of her own arc of development, Diana is an incredibly real and complicated character whose own growth invites viewers to reflect on their own nature and values. Wonder Woman is also fantastic as an action film with intense battle scenes, bold stunts, and high stakes. Power corrupts, but Diana’s story is one of love, hope, and sacrifice. @amiwrite of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Wonder Woman is an incredible film that, as a young woman, I really enjoyed, though that is not to say that men won’t enjoy it as well. The beginning of the movie, as it is set during World War I, focuses much on sexism which I’m glad was not ignored considering the time because it is very important. It also feels super empowering when Diana, Wonder Woman, upstages the men who underestimate her in the film through intelligence and strength and when she walks into battlefields and essentially defeats great enemies single handedly. There was a well executed plot twist that was really intriguing, and I thoroughly enjoyed the romance in the film. Although the romance did seem obvious from the start of the movie, I think that the turn it took in the film was unexpected and a different yet pleasing approach. The action in the film was really well done—there were quite a few shots in slow-motion which I thought were really cool—and it was very exciting to watch. I loved Wonder Woman’s persistence, confidence, and faith in mankind as she stayed hopeful in ending the evil influence placed upon the Germans by the god of war as I found it was a great message in the film. Overall, 5/5 stars. @demi.god.on.a.mission of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

This Wonder Woman movie is really good, I did enjoy it so much with my family it just a fantastic and solid film. It was good in drama, it was good in action and it was great in fantasy element that I absolutely adore it has amazing comedic elements there is also a cool destroyed realistic war sequences. It was a colorful movie compared to some DC film that was gloomy and sad, the Amazon that were Diana grew up was such a beautiful and colorful place the cinematography was fantastic the costumes in the productions looks absolutely brilliant, the whole layout and structures execution and direction on the film are all worked out brilliantly. It was really fun to see and enjoyable. 5/5 Stars. @moviefanatic of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board
