I love how this book is in form of letters, notes and graphs and how different people write entries, it shows how similar and how different their opinions are. In this book their are lots of surprises and frightening moments!

My Favorite Character is Lizzie, she is independent( political) she never goes on either persons side and agrees with everything and isn't stuck up. She is also very funny.

A thought-provoking middle grade novel about racism and small-town life, plus add in a breakout at a prison? I'm in. Loved how the book was done with letters, texts and pictures.

I enjoyed reading this book that is told in a series of letters, poems, text messages, news stories and comics. I felt that it read fast by reading in all these different formats. I also think that it will get kids talking about certain issues brought up in the book and lead to some good discussions.
