A touching family Christmas movie. The prodigal son comes home, along with his other brothers and sisters to their mom's home in LA for Christmas. Every family member has an issue to deal with in their personal life. The dance scene at the end with the cast is one of the best parts of the DVD. Idris Elba can dance, a bonus for Luther fans.
This comedic drama film is about a family during the holidays as they have their first entire family reunion for years. During this reunion, secrets within the family get out leading to lots of laughter and fighting. I found this movie to be one of those more classic holiday films that families can watch together and laugh about because of how relatable it is. There were many over-dramatic and awkward moments that make this movie cringey at times, but the combination of big name celebrities and easy laughs are what tie it together.
