Add a CommentThe book Brave Enough by Kati Gardner is a really good book, one that I enjoyed very much. This book is about a boy who is working to stay sober after his addiction to drugs and a girl who has to battle cancer. These two don’t realize how much they end up needing each other. I believe the book to be engaging and relatable. This book can inspire people facing the same challenges and people who want to help. One thing that worries me is because the book talks about drugs, someone will start. Other than that, the only thing I didn’t really like was the girl’s mom. She acts too optimistic about the challenges her daughter faces. However, I understand why the author made that character the way she is. And I wish the author elaborated more when the scene takes place at camp. But besides, that, I thought this was one of my favorite books and I encourage you to read it! If you like it, the second book, Finding Balance, is coming out soon.
