An incident of racism prompted the author to tell his daughter his own story. It is a good reminder of the racist strand in Canadian culture.

Okay writing; the author's primary concern is that his daughter won't get an extraordinary share of the earth's resources because of her skin colour, not a single mention of climate change; his daughter's probably rolling her eyes.

What a gentle love letter about tolerance to his daughter and to all of us!

Deeply moving. Quick read at only 88 pages. But let me tell you, they are 88 powerful pages.
