Olive Torres is used to being the unlucky twin: from inexplicable mishaps to a recent layoff, her life seems to be almost comically jinxed. By contrast, her sister Ami is an eternal champion ... she even managed to finance her entire wedding by winning a slew of contests. Unfortunately for Olive, the only thing worse than constant bad luck is having to spend the wedding day with the best man (and her nemesis), Ethan Thomas. Olive braces herself for wedding hell, determined to put on a brave face, but when the entire wedding party gets food poisoning, the only people who aren't affected are Olive and Ethan. Suddenly there's a free honeymoon up for grabs, and Olive will be damned if Ethan gets to enjoy paradise solo. Agreeing to a temporary truce, the pair head for Maui. After all, ten days of bliss is worth having to assume the role of loving newlyweds, right? But the weird thing is . . . Olive doesn't mind playing pretend. In fact, the more she pretends to be the luckiest woman alive, the more it feels like she might be.

Not my favorite Christian Lauren, but still fun. Made me yearn for a trip to Hawaii... maybe I was just too jealous of the characters to enjoy it.

Two sparring in-laws pose as a romantic couple to keep a honeymoon package.

Way too simplistic prose and the plot was not deep at all. Was not enjoyable and it is surprising that people enjoyed this book.

This is a light hearted little romance with some fun moments and the classic trope of enemies-to-lovers. I lost interest at the very end, but up until the 'epiologue' I was excited to read it.

laugh out loud funny! Really enjoyed it!

If you are looking for a that will make you laugh and feel all the things then look no further! Because this is it!
Olive and Ami are identical twins. Olive is at one of the lowest points in her life, while Ami has just planned the wedding of her dreams all for free. Olive has always been a bit pessimistic and since that attitude attracts bad things she has to spend the wedding the grooms brother Ethan, who treats her terribly and she hates. But just when she thought she has it bad everyone at the wedding except her and Ethan get sick from the food. The plus side is they have the opportunity to take the honeymoon in Maui. The catch pretending it’s their honeymoon.
Of course shenanigans ensue and we end up with quite a love story!

Another great novel from Christina Lauren. I couldn't put it down

(Review Not on Blog)

Okay, Christina and Lauren, you got me. The pretty cover and diverse heroine drew me in but oh my, oh my Ethan will be the reason you keep reading/listening. This is the typical rom-com where boy and girl do not like one another, and are put in the same room and come to love another - after some hilarity ensues. This may sound like a jab, but it is not! I enjoyed the predictable story with it's own endearing characters and brand of humour. It takes a lot for me to get into rom-com novels, and even more to enjoy it. I rated it a 3.5 stars and not a solid 4 because it is not one I would reread, but is one I would recommend to other readers. I have to say, I felt a lot like Olive with her unlucky streak. The last few years have not gone as smoothly as I hoped (but then again I can say that for my life), and yet it has not gone as badly as it could. I am down for more Christina Lauren novels!

***I received an eARC from NETGALLEY***

I DNF another book by this collaboration (*something* half-night stand) after a few pages, managed to finish this one, but I don't need to attempt any more. this struck me as an unsuccessful amalgamation of rom-com clichés, slapstick, cringeworthy PG sex, and the importance of family. BUT, most people seemed to love it, so I'll just say this is not for me.

This was so enjoyable, and perfect for something light and fun for the summer.

A netflix adapation would be greatly appreciated :)
