Coleman continues his ideals of freedom in jazz in this album pleasing loyal and casual fans alike.
" ... It's the entire album, which still has such freshness: it spills all over your idea of what jazz is but makes inherent sense, cohering with the like-mindedness of a suite."--New York Times Essential Library Jazz.

WoW...what a revelation this album was and continues to be for me. Charlie's upright bass and Don's frenetic drumming perfectly complements Ornette's forays into a profoundly alien space. A devastating revelation of an album that is hard to digest even today. Sun Ra would be proud
