I am enthralled by these (perhaps) inside views of Thailand and its capital. The mysteries are well crafted and the characters are well drawn and I had no trouble believing them but never having traveled to an Asian country makes me a pretty soft sell. At any rate, I'm in love with this series and can't wait for the next one.

If you liked Burdett's Bangkok 8, you'll probably like this. Deadpan humour, a chatty sympathetic narrator who keeps some secrets to himself, an obvious love of Thailand (even the naughty bits).
