After reading only romance focused mangas for a while now, it's good to come back to a more action packed manga.

I usually call this part the "Lose-Train-Win" sequence and most classic shonen mangas have this. The main character loses badly, almost dying, he then trains and wins, impressing both his trainer and his for.

It's like slipping into the comfortable slippers of my childhood spent watching and reading Japanese anime/manga.

Action continues in the story. Ichigo is unable to defend Rukia from the Soul Society, leading to her being arrested. In order to rescue here, Ichigo enters into a training regime with Kisukhe (Hat and Colgs) and his crew. Can Ichigo put aside his prejudices and world view to save his friend?
